Stop #15-Yucca Valley, CA and Joshua Tree National Park

Desolate sands, cacti, and a whole lot of rocks...

With the gas pedal to the floor, Will and Bob managed to survive and escape the perilous grips of LA and land in Yucca Valley, CA near Joshua Tree National Park. Over the next few months they will spend their time in the Mojave Desert climbing the abundance of large rocks scattered throughout Joshua Tree and the High Desert. They've managed to rent themselves a swanky RV lot for a great deal with Joe, their new landlord and neighbor. Will and Bob are back to the civilized life of running water and electricity. They even have Wi-fi. One of their first stops was Giant Rock. It was aptly named and supposedly the largest free standing rock in the entire Desert. It goes without saying that Will and Bob attempted to climb it. They have also been to Joshua Tree National Park which offers some world-class trad climbing. Only a 15 minuet drive away, Joshua Tree has kept Will and Bob busy over the last few days when they aren't looking for part-time jobs or playing in this giant sandbox they call the desert. More adventures to come...
