The fast and the furious in real life, visiting family, living in the mountains, and climbing like one time…

Upon arrival into the greater Los Angeles area, Bob and Will quickly realized they were far from home. Surrounded by assholes, crazy drivers, and smog they set out to figure out what the hell they were actually doing with their lives. After spending several hours in several different libraries, their best solution was to live far up in the hills of the San Gabriel Mountains. There they would spend several sleepless nights listening to the fast and furious locals race shitty sports cars through the winding mountain roads, and almost lose their camper behind randomly locking gates (luckily Bob knows how to pick locks apparently…)
During their days, Bob and Will would make the long drive into town to sit in more libraries, catch up with old friends, see family, be part of a very special birthday, and climb some amazing granite in a uniquely urban setting (Riverside Quarry). Realizing they were making no forward progress with their search for a more permanent living situation, Bob and Will packed their things and headed south towards Joshua Tree.
Areas Climbed:
