Driving, tourist stuff, rain, more driving, more rain, and some cool climbing – From Northern Washington to Central California…

Will and Bobs impeccable ability to meander aimlessly has taken them to many incredible places over the last week. A quick sleepover at Seattle's Muckleshoot Casino parking lot allowed them to wake-up, be kicked off of the premises and climb an artificial wall in Marymoor Park. Throughout the city of Seattle, Will and Bob avoided the many reckless drivers that Washington had to offer as well as the crazy meandering homeless. With eager eyes, they headed for the Olympic National Forest/Hoh Temperate Rainforest. There, they viewed the gigantic moss-covered trees and attempted some bouldering at The Big Fat Beach Boulder on La Push beach. It was big. It was fat. It was a boulder. They moved on with their lives.
It rained… it never stopped raining, so Will and Bob made the executive decision to put their blinders on and mostly skip over the state of Oregon. In one day they bombed through the entire state and the weather began getting warmer as Will and Bob approached the Giant Sequoia Trees along the California Coast. Bob, inattentive while trying to comprehend the size of the trees, would look over to find Will trying to climb said trees. Together they kept each other alive and mostly intact while trying their hardest not to look like tourists… They didn’t do a very good job.
As they pushed south, they slept wherever they could and climbed whenever the opportunity presented itself. They enjoyed many touristy things, and got charged 22.50 to cross the Golden Gate Bridge... Between the Olympic National Forest and the California Redwoods; Will and Bob climbed in Oregon at Broughton Bluff, ascended a route overhanging the Pacific Ocean at High Bluff, and climbed the Pinch Me Wall at Land of the Lost in the Horse Mountains. Soon they will be climbing big walls in southern California.
