It was cold, there was a tent, and scary shit outside. (Sept.15th-Sept.16th)

Will and Bob stopped through this gem of a town to climb some of the greatest limestone around. It was about 28 degrees at 1 a.m. when scary noises arose from outside the tent. Don't fear, Will has armed Bob with a Beretta PX4 Storm Sub Compact 9mm and on Will's hip was a Springfield XDS 45 cal. The deer got lucky and the boys got to sleep in peace that night.

With a plethora of routes to choose from and no guide book, they started climbing. The guide book was $75 at the local "Dirty Sally's" general store. No thanks. Due to the lack of direction without the book, Will and Bob managed to guesstimate the grades of routes with their experience and superior analytical skills. The climbs were challenging and the rock was amazing. If you're a climber you should plan a trip to Tensleep for a few days, even though it would take a lifetime to climb everything the area has to offer.

After a day of challenging climbing and stomachs full of bananas and Nutri-grain bars, they decided to look for some food at the only restaurant in town, The Tensleep Saloon. If you want a 1/3 lb. burger for $10 and fries for and additional $3 then Tensleep, WY is the place for you. They skipped on the food, packed up and hightailed it out of town. With many stops ahead of them before winters arrival, there was no need to spend another night in the freezing cold.
