Yellostone National Park & The Grand Tetons in WY: Tourists, Old Faithful, More Tourist, More geysers, and some mountains. (Sept 17th - Sept 18th)

This stop was a no-brainer. Will and Bob wouldn't pass up a chance to see some of the countries most beautiful and incredible landscape; and potentially see a bear, maybe. With the final destination being a free campsite in the Grand Tetons, they decided to start at the South Entrance of Yellowstone. Due to the arduous climbing from previous days, this stop was primarily sightseeing and postcard collecting.
Yellowstone was full of tourists, both smart and dumb, but mostly dumb. Supposedly a dude even jumped in a geyser at one point: natural selection. The park was home to beautiful geysers, hot spring pools, and the vast Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Words can hardly do justice for Yellowstone’s beauty so you'll have to look at the pictures. On the boy's trip through Yellowstone, they stopped to see Old Faithful and get some premium cafeteria food at the local restaurant. At Old Faithful, Will and Bob would see the untamed and tenacious nature of tourists gripping their phone in anticipation for Old Faithful's eruption. After the eruption of the geyser, the herd of tourists migrated out of the park and went on with their social media updates, child rearing, and picture taking.
The Grand Tetons were a completely different experience. There weren't many tourists and the landscape was completely different. Will and Bob found themselves in amazement as they looked over Jackson Lake at the beautiful mountains. There they built a structurally sound rock cairn on the shore, and moved on down the road towards their campsite. They had managed to make it through two of the countries greatest National parks in one day. On they go, speeding aimlessly through the beautiful northwest.
